I don’t remember Lauryn Hill’s solo career. I was living overseas when The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill dropped in 1998. The only things I really remember about Lauryn Hill is the Fugees cover of “Killing Me Softly” and everyone talking about when she would drop the second album. I understand that there was a second album, MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 in 2002 but, according to wiki, it sold poorly. The only thing that I can really say about The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is that it is long. At least, it seems long. Of course, I wasn’t really into it so that made it seem never ending. It does clock in at a little over one hour. I’d probably change the station if it came on the radio, but I do that even with songs I like.
