343 Bat Out of Hell

Wikipedia says that the songs from Bat Out of Hell “have remained classic rock staples.” It’s not that I don’t believe this, it’s just that I spent my teenage years listening to a local classic rock station, because it was the “hardest” thing we got around here, and I only remember one song off this album (‘Paradise By the Dashboard Light’). Although, I know Meat Loaf made follow-ups to this album (at least two), and his discography is 13 albums long, the only other thing I know about him is that he won’t do that (sorry, had to).

Bat Out of Hell is Meat Loaf’s second album and one of the best selling albums ever with over 30 million copies sold world wide. I read that it is often compared to the music of Bruce Springsteen. I don’t hear it but what do I know. It is very teenage angsty. One doesn’t have to know much to hear that part of it. I feel a little meh about it. Although the tunes are catchy and fun, I don’t really care about downloading it or listening to it again. Idk.
