Rust Never Sleeps is an album from Neil Young and Crazy Horse that was recorded live and then overdubbed in the studio. It was released in July 1979 to positive reviews and was placed on several “Best of” lists for 1979. I didn’t know that Neil Young’s association with Crazy Horse went back so far (actually, it dates back to 1969). I don’t really feel like researching it much. Books can be devoted to Neil Young without Crazy Horse. I’m not sure I can do much justice in one post about one album.
I had to YouTube this one because it’s not available on Apple Music. You can listen to the entire thing here. I hope you enjoy it more than I did. “My my, Hey hey” stands out for me but that’s about it. There is another album by the two that I’ve enjoyed more, but not enough to remember the name of it. Sorry.
