377 Boom Boom Room

In at number 377 is John Lee Hooker’s The Ultimate Collection 1948 - 1990 and I can’t find a copy of it. Sure I could create a playlist of YouTube, maybe, if I had time but I don’t. In the past, I would use this kind of roadblock to take a break and the project would stall. I’m not going to do that this time. I’m just gonna say that I can’t find it and move on. I will take the time to tell you some stuff about John Lee Hooker

John Lee Hooker was an American blues signer, songwriter, and guitarist. For some reason, I draw images of crossroad demons whenever I think of blues guitarist from The South and Hooker is one of them. He began his musical career in 1948 and was active until his death in 2001. If you’ve seen The Blues Brothers, you’ve seen him play and the character Jake Blues was influenced by Hooker. He recorded over 100 albums and had a night club in San Francisco called John Lee Hooker’s Boom Boom Room. And I’ll leave you with a video of the song Boom Boom. Enjoy.
