Don Henley is an American singer-songwriter, possibly best known as a founding member of the Eagles. Then End of Innocence (Geffen, 1989) is his third studio album. Wiki says that it is his best selling album. It peaked at number 8 in the U.S. and has three Top 40 singles. He won a Grammy and MTV Video Music Award for the title track. Apparently, Axl Rose did some backup for I Will Not Go Quietly.
I was a little bummed. The most identifiable thing I know of by Don Henley is The Boys of Summer and the Dirty Laundry song. Neither of those songs is on this album. It wasn’t unenjoyable but I’m okay with having missed it the first time around.
