384 Who? No really, Who?

I don’t know what the fuck I’m listening to.

I don’t normally start typing up little blurbs for these albums while I’m still listening to them but what. the. fuck.

Do I really need to tell you who The Who are?

Okay, fine.

The Who are an English rock band formed in 1964 and are considered one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century.

A Quick One (MCA, 1966) is their second studio album. It was released under the title Happy Jack in the U.S. There’s a little blurb in the Wiki article on it that claims the album was intended to be pop music. Maybe that’s why I would never have guessed that it was The Who. I dunno but I don’t like it much.

If you go looking for it, keep in mind that there are several versions. The original had ten songs. A 1995 versions contains 20 songs. You can also, easily, track down a mono version of the album.
