401 RHCP vs. The Chili Peppers

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to an entire Red Hot Chili Peppers album. I checked my iTunes library and I do own a few RHCP songs, but not a complete album.

RHCP was formed in Los Angeles in 1983. The only member I ever remember is Flea (the bass player) because his name is Flea and he once wore nothing but underwear while on stage during some sort of TV award show I think. I don’t remember which one. Anyway, the band has won 7 Grammys and have sold over 80 million records worldwide. If you’re an Ink Master fan thenyou may know that Dave Navarro once played with the band. Californication (Warner Bros, 1999) has been the bands biggest commercial success.

Californication is RHCP seventh studio album. It produced several hits and the song “Scar Tissue” won the Grammy for Best Rock Song in 2000. Apparently, there is an unmastered version of the album, with a different track listing and mixing, floating around on the internet.

I found it to be a decent album. Probably not going to download it, but I enjoyed listening to it.
